Using LearnefAI responsibly

Terms of Use

The ground rules for your account, your learning, and the material you submit. Please read these alongside the Privacy Policy.

Policy version and effective date:

1. Using LearnefAI

These terms describe the conditions for using LearnefAI's website and learning service. By using the service, you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the service. The Privacy Policy explains how information is processed.

LearnefAI is an independent AI-assisted study tool. It creates learning material from user inputs and provides self-paced practice features. It is not a school, an accredited educational institution, or a professional advisory service.

2. Eligibility and account responsibilities

You must be at least 13 to create an account or submit personal information. If you are under 18, use the service with a parent or guardian's permission. Do not misrepresent your age or create an account for a child under 13. Other requirements may apply where you live; an age statement on this site does not override those requirements.

Provide accurate account information, keep your account access private, and do not share passwords or verification codes. You are responsible for the activity you authorize through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, use your authentication provider's available protections and contact us.

A personal account is not a school-managed account or a separate guardian account. The site does not promise parental monitoring or a verified age-check process.

Review progress together in the learner's dashboard. Weekly parent summaries, when available in Profile, require the learner to opt in and a parent or guardian to confirm the invitation. If the option is unavailable, no summaries will be sent. Creating an account never enrolls anyone in parent emails.

3. AI limitations and academic integrity

AI-generated content can be wrong, incomplete, misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent. This includes explanations, calculations, questions, answer keys, citations, and feedback. Content filters reduce some risks but cannot guarantee appropriate results. Verify important information with class materials, a teacher, or other reliable sources.

Use LearnefAI to practice and understand, not to misrepresent AI output as work you completed independently. Follow your school's assignment, citation, and AI-use rules. Do not use the service to cheat on tests or bypass academic-integrity requirements.

There is no guarantee of improved grades, test scores, mastery, course credit, or admission outcomes. XP, streaks, levels, and progress indicators are product features, not formal academic assessments. No school or district endorsement, teacher review, or Florida curriculum alignment is claimed.

Do not rely on generated material for medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other high-stakes decisions. Do not perform hazardous experiments or activities based on an AI explanation.

4. Free and Pro plans, limits, and subscriptions

The Free plan includes 1 active course, with no credit card needed. Every unarchived course that has not failed counts toward the free limit, including pending, processing, and completed courses. Failed courses do not use an active slot. Archiving a counted course frees a slot without deleting its content. On Free, restoring an archived course that has not failed requires an available slot.

Pro costs USD $7.99/month or $60/year. Both billing options include the same Pro features: the Free learning tools plus multiple active courses with no fixed course-count cap. The yearly price is billed as one annual payment, not monthly installments. See Pricing to compare plans.

Normal AI and service rate limits, account eligibility, generation constraints, and service availability apply to both plans. Pro is not an offer of unlimited AI requests or guaranteed generation speed. Course generation can fail or produce material that needs correction.

Paid subscriptions renew at the selected monthly or yearly interval unless canceled. Review the price, billing interval, and payment conditions before confirming your purchase. Existing subscriptions keep the terms you accepted, subject to any agreed changes and legally required notices; this page does not itself change or cancel a subscription or promise a refund.

Manage billing in Profile to review your subscription and available cancellation controls. If an action is unavailable or a charge is unclear, contact us. Do not send card details. A data-deletion request is not by itself confirmation of subscription cancellation. Nothing here removes payment or consumer rights provided by applicable law.

5. Material you submit and generated content

Only submit prompts, documents, and other material that you have the right to use and provide for processing. Do not upload someone else's private information, confidential school records, or copyrighted material without an appropriate right or permission. Keep sensitive personal information out of prompts, uploads, and support messages.

You retain any rights you have in your submitted material. You authorize LearnefAI and the providers involved in the requested features to process that material as necessary to generate and deliver responses, store related learning records, operate the service, and address support or safety issues, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Generated output may not be unique and may resemble content produced for others. Its copyright status and permitted use depend on applicable law and the material involved; the service does not guarantee exclusive ownership, originality, non-infringement, or the accuracy of citations. Check outputs before sharing or relying on them.

6. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respect other people's privacy, safety, and work. In particular, do not:

  • Attempt to access another user's account, courses, files, or private records.
  • Bypass authentication, moderation, subscription limits, or other access restrictions.
  • Automate abusive requests, interfere with service availability, introduce malicious files, or exploit security weaknesses.
  • Submit unlawful, exploitative, threatening, harassing, or deliberately harmful material.
  • Impersonate another person, fabricate credentials, or present generated material as verified professional or school-approved advice.
  • Use another person's personal information without authorization or submit content you lack the right to use.

Report a content concern through Contact. Avoid reproducing harmful or sensitive material beyond what is necessary to describe the issue.

7. Public samples, illustrations, and community figures

The public subject pages contain authored illustrative samples: static outlines, worked examples, and read-only questions. They are not extracted from production courses, are not student work, and have not been teacher-reviewed. Reading a sample does not enroll you in a course, save quiz answers, or award XP.

Progress and learning-path graphics on the public website are illustrations, not actual screenshots or live learner records. Example numbers are not a promise of rewards or results. A course you generate may differ from the sample.

The community counts (3,200+ total sign-ups, ~1,100 active learners, 1,600+ courses created) are an owner-supplied snapshot dated October 22, 2026. They are not live analytics, independently audited figures, testimonials, or evidence of academic outcomes.

8. Availability, restrictions, and changes

The service depends on third-party authentication, AI, hosting, database, and payment systems. These can experience errors, downtime, or changes. Access to a particular feature, response time, generated result, or stored course is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or permanent.

Features, free-plan availability, and usage limits may change. Accounts or requests may be restricted when necessary to address abuse, security concerns, legal obligations, or violations of these terms. Changes affecting paid subscriptions remain subject to applicable subscription terms and legal requirements.

Keep your own copy of work you need to retain, where doing so is lawful and the available product controls permit it. Do not use the service as your only storage location for important material.

9. Ending use and requesting deletion

You can stop using the service at any time. To request removal of account or learning data, use the deletion-request contact option. A request may require verification and clarification of its scope.

Archiving is not deletion. Closing an authentication account should not be assumed to remove every linked course, historical upload, billing record, backup, or provider-held copy immediately. Read the retention and deletion section for these limitations.

If you have a recurring paid subscription, address cancellation separately through available billing controls or an explicit support request. Do not assume that simply leaving the site or archiving a course stops billing.

10. Responsibility and your legal rights

The service and its AI-generated material are offered as study assistance, not as a guarantee of accuracy, suitability, continuous availability, or a particular result. You should exercise judgment about the material you submit and how you use the responses.

These terms do not exclude rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, and do not override obligations that apply under law. They are not a certification of compliance with school-specific rules, privacy frameworks, or educational standards.

11. Questions and updates

Use Contact for questions about these terms, account access, or existing subscription issues. The version and effective date at the top identify these terms. Review the current version when deciding whether to continue using the service as it changes.
