Good questions deserve clear answers
Let's clear a few things up.
What LearnefAI does, what it does not promise, and what to know before you get started.
For students
What is LearnefAI?
Turn a subject you want to understand into your own course, with chapters, explanations, quizzes, and flashcards. Learn at your pace and earn XP, streaks, and badges along the way.
Which subjects are popular with learners?
Pre-algebra, pre-calculus, Spanish, software engineering, and debate are popular in our community, based on the team's October 2026 snapshot. The gallery offers a sample path into each; the Python sample is an introductory starting point for software engineering.
Can I explore before signing up?
Yes. Explore six read-only course samples, with full outlines, worked examples, and practice questions. These are authored examples, not student work or teacher-reviewed courses. No account is needed, and your own generated course will be personalized to your prompt.
How do XP, levels, streaks, and badges work?
Finish a topic, complete a quiz, or review a flashcard deck to earn XP. Each activity's rewards are recorded once; repeating a quiz can earn a one-time perfect-score bonus. Levels progress from Learner to Explorer, Scholar, and Master. There are 16 current badges. Streaks use Palm Beach time (America/New_York); one weekly freeze can protect a single missed day. These are motivation tools, not grades.
Can it help with my school classes?
Use it to preview a topic, revisit a difficult explanation, or practice with quizzes and flashcards before a test. It works alongside your teacher, not instead of them. Follow your school's rules about AI and do your own graded work.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Open LearnefAI in a current phone, tablet, or computer browser—no app to install. If your school-managed account blocks sign-in, ask your school about approved access.
Do I need to attend scheduled lessons?
No timetable, no live class to catch. Choose a manageable study session and revisit your course whenever you want to practice.
For parents
Can I start for free?
Yes. Start with 1 active course for free, with no credit card needed. Archive a course to make room for another without losing your earlier work. Pro is USD $7.99/month or $60/year, with the same paid features on either billing interval: multiple active courses with no fixed course-count cap. Normal AI and service rate limits apply to both plans. See Pricing for details, or manage billing in Profile.
Who is it for?
Middle and high school learners ages 13+, in Palm Beach and beyond. Learners under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission. Grade labels on samples describe the material, not the account age requirement; children under 13 should not sign up or submit personal information.
What safety and privacy controls are in place?
There are no ads, public student profiles, or open chats with strangers. Your courses require your account, and optional first-name learning groups require an invitation and opt-in. Prompts and responses are screened, but AI can still make mistakes or produce inappropriate material. Avoid sensitive information and use Report a mistake on a topic or quiz, or contact support. LearnefAI does not sell personal information.
What information is collected?
Clerk handles account sign-in; the app stores an account identifier, email, optional study preferences, courses and learning progress. AI providers process course inputs and responses. Support requests and separately enabled parent-email invitations involve their own contact details. We do not ask for your location, phone number, exact age, or date of birth in the learning profile. Read Privacy for the full provider, cookie, legacy-upload, and retention details.
Can I trust every AI answer?
No. AI can give incorrect facts, calculations, citations, or explanations, sometimes confidently. Compare important answers with class materials or reliable sources, and ask a teacher when something does not make sense. Content filters are not a guarantee that every response will be appropriate. Report a problem through Contact.
Can I see my child's progress?
Review progress together in the learner's dashboard. Weekly parent summaries, when available in Profile, require the learner to opt in and a parent or guardian to confirm the invitation. If the option is unavailable, no summaries will be sent. Creating an account never enrolls anyone in parent emails.
What should I avoid putting in a prompt or upload?
Do not submit passwords, medical details, school records, private information about other people, or material you do not have permission to use. When a PDF upload is available, remove names and other identifying details first. Review Privacy for how course inputs and uploaded files are processed.
Does archiving a course delete my information?
No. Archiving keeps a course's content. If the course counted toward your active limit, archiving it frees a slot for another course. Failed courses do not use an active slot either. On Free, restoring an archived course that has not failed requires an available slot. For removal of account or learning data, use the deletion-request option on Contact.
How do I ask for my data to be deleted?
The public Contact form is for adults. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to select a deletion request on your behalf and explain their relationship to you. Adults can submit their own request. Include the email associated with the learner's account, but never a password or verification code. We may need to verify that the request is authorized and clarify its scope. Removing active records does not mean backups, logs, or provider-held copies disappear instantly; Privacy explains these limits.
Where do the community numbers come from?
The LearnefAI team's October 22, 2026 snapshot: 3,200+ total sign-ups, ~1,100 active learners, 1,600+ courses created. These are community activity figures rather than live counters or course-completion counts.
What is LearnefAI's connection to Palm Beach?
Help every Palm Beach student learn at their own pace. Our community includes middle and high school learners across Palm Beach County, with popular subjects including math, Spanish, software engineering, and debate. LearnefAI is independent; a community connection does not mean a school or district endorses the service. Read About for our purpose and approach.
For teachers and counselors
Can I recommend LearnefAI to my class?
You can share the public samples with families so they can evaluate the tool. Check your school's AI, privacy, age, and sign-in policies before asking students to create accounts. LearnefAI is independent and does not claim district approval, verified curriculum alignment, or a school data agreement. Do not upload student rosters or private school records.
Is this approved by my school or aligned to Florida standards?
No school or district endorsement is claimed. The public samples have not been verified against Florida standards or a particular school's curriculum. Follow your teacher's assignment requirements and your school's rules for AI use.
How can a teacher or counselor reach the team?
Use the Contact page for questions, feedback, or a request to review course samples. Share the subject and the kind of support you need, without student names, grades, or other private records. Keep the request reference shown after submission so you can refer to it in a follow-up.
